christmas time

I've been having craaazy dreams lately
in full color it's amazing!

I went to the Moma today with a couple of girls from school
Elizabeth, Keiko and Ewelina.

Every time i try to write in these I get interrupted by my brother

My cat knocked off one of my tiny pots and it broke =[
my daisy sprouts were all scattered on the floor
I had to pick up the pieces and some pieces of dirt are still strewn about.

He thinks he got away with it

I hate how I get tired so fast
All of a sudden my eyes get all dry and loopy whatever lol

I miss bus field trips with my dorky band friends :P
And I miss feeding the kitties in the backyard when I was 4

I went to sleep for a couple of hours and that did not alleviate my fever lol.

bought some shampoo and conditioner
I helped clean up a river
7-8 bags of garbage :D
actually.. i only did about 1 and half =_=
I was picking up all the small stuff because that harms animals more =[
i think.. they eat them right?!?! and it gets stuck inside their stomach's... T_T
well.. Myriam picked up the big bottles XP we went in a canoe.. the river was soo dirty with small patches of oil too.. we found a HUGE dead fish!!!
and people were actually FISHING in there!!

Live/ Work

The Live/ Work show was not what I was expecting. What I had in mind was performance's, actual people doing the work in front of you. I didn't really grasp the concept of the title's relationship with the work. It really confused me. I still don't understand it.
It was really difficult to choose between all of the art works. They were all individually unique and each stood out as their own. If I had to choose I would school "Taxi Drawing" by Paul Sietsema. The idea of the brain and the texts, it was very creative. I especially loved all the colors and how he used the different colored paper/ tape to create movement throughout the piece. Some of the texts said things like "Forms in the realm of time... Forms in the realm of the mind".
The "Mental Excercise" by Mel Bochner interested me alot. It made me want to test it out. It interested me because it was so different and was phsycologically challenging.
One of the pieces from Gabriel Orozco "Ticket-Alitalia" made me think about all the ordinary things that can be used to create art. Like a checkbook, movie stubs, anything!
The show was very intense and overpowering. Each piece made me stare and wonder how it was created and how much time it must have taken. All of the art works all very beautiful in it's own way. I had to do a couple of double takes on some because when you stare at something from far away it's different from when you stare at it up close. While I was there people would walk by saying, "I could do that". Sure you can but did you? It's not whether you can achieve it or not, it's the time you spend thinking about it. I think that's most important in art works. The time you think about creating something because anyone can just think of something and put it down on paper.

Book!

I went to Barnes and Nobles today XD and I had this urge to just buy this book.. i had too!! it was 50% off!! really!! XD so i bought this book called

Back!

So we're back to school! I'm kind of sooo happy but kind of sad XD
I'm so sad I have to grow up! lol is it as bad as i think it is? XP
I'm so happy to be working again! (kind of..)
I just dislike the lack of time on my hands..
I had to visit a friend today because he fell into a diabetic comma
He's fine and at home now.. but I was terrified when i found out!! TERRIFIED!!

I made him a get well card :D and drew flowers with fabric glue.. *since i couldn't find cheap pretty bouquets.. they're so expensive!* great alternative! =] and it's definitely more personal too ^_^

I had a great winter vacation @__@ kind of wish I hadn't because.. I miss it!
